P. 3
We have now welcomed the new year. As we begin the new year, we all have new hopes and dreams for the
coming days. Some time ago I had an opportunity to speak with a psychiatrist, a friend of mine. He pointed
out to me that the human brain processes more than 6,200 thoughts a day. However, 70-80% of these
thoughts are negative thoughts. What this tells us is that we live with more negative thoughts and worries than
positive thoughts.
As we start the new year, we
have an opportunity to look at the
state of our mindset and remind
ourselves of the importance of
having a positive and forward-
looking attitude for the days to
come.
In the past three years, COVID
has changed our lives in a very
significant way. Hope5L2F has
also experienced many difficul-
ties due to the impact of COVID.
At the same time, however, we
were also able to experience the
Lord's grace at work during the
challenging time of COVID.
One of our major tasks for this year is to complete the
rebuilding process of Hope5L2F. At the same time, we
will continue our ministry of Susannah Wesley House
in Cambodia, which we started in 2018 as a ministry to
develop and cultivate leadership among young women.
We will also resume our training ministry in Southeast
Asia for pastors and lay people, which was interrupted
by COVID. This year, we will also start the prepara-
tion for ministry to promote economic sustainability
for young people in Ukraine who are suffering from
the war.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all our
mission partners who have continued to support Hope5L2F and join us in prayer even through the challenging
time of COVID. I also humbly invite you to continue to journey with us with your prayers and support the
work of Hope5L2F this year.
May God continue to richly bless you and give you joy in all the days in the New Year!
